The trip has come to an end, behind lies 17 days, 12 countries, approx. 7000 km and a lot of dead bugs.
The journey went accordingly to the plan and no big problems were encountered during the trip. Will go through the pictures and start writing down the travelblog as soon as I've recuperated a few days, was quite exhausting driving the heat. Shouldn't complain about the weather considering what it's been like at home, but temperatures over 35 degrees (C) aren't really that enjoyable on a motorcycle.
The bag is packed and the bike ready to go on this years trip, todays ride is down to Vantaa and tomorrow morning we'll catch a ferry to Tallinn.
The english translations are coming along, albeit slowly, so I'll have to continue on working on those after the trip.
Yay! First post in english. Initially the site was only meant to be in swedish and finnish, but as I revamped the site I thought I'd add another language. It's still a bit thin on content as only the main navigation structure is translated to english, but I'll get to the travel blogs shortly.
The weather in Finland is far from ideal when it comes to motorcycles, on a good year you have about 6 months of riding. For me, it's rarely even that, this year I took out the bike on the 1st of May just in time to attend the annual 1st of May parade with 380 other bikes. So that's one of the reasons why I like to travel, the other one being that there's not a lot of good biking roads to be found, and the ones that are good have ridiculously low speed limits (which are enforced carefully).
This years travel plans are coming along nicely, so at the end of June I'll leave for a few weeks trip down to central and south Europe. The plan so far:
Last years travel blog have been uploaded but not yet translated, but you could always have a look at the picture galleries.
